About Dock Slammer Fishing Charters
Let Captain Hunter take you aboard the "Miss Ginger", our 30' Island Hopper featuring a toilet, ample seating, and shade for you and up to 5 other anglers. All rods, reels, tackle, fishing licenses, and filleting/bagging of your catch are included in the cost of your trip, so all you have to worry about is fishing! With Dock Slammer Fishing Charters, you can expect a trip full of light tackle fishing, bottom fishing, and trolling depending on your targeted species. Redfish, Sharks, Spanish Mackerel, Speckled Trout, Sheepshead, Jack Crevalle, Flounder, and Cobia can all be sought after depending on the season and day's weather. We encourage all our passengers to pack an ice chest with plenty of water/drinks of your choice and any snacks/food you may want while on your trip, as those are not provided. Your first mate, Dakota, will also be aboard for your experience to help with baiting/casting lines, unhooking fish, keeping the deck clean, and anything else you may need. Captain Hunter Veal has been fishing the Mississippi Gulf Coast for 30 years. He's been working professionally in the charter business for 5 years and is now taking the leap to begin a business of his own. Captain Hunter's largest goal with starting a charter of his own is to have a business to raise his 3 children up in, in an environment they all love to share!
